I have a tooth that has had too much metal implanted over the years.
We are going to see a friend who is a dentist tomorrow who knows some of what's going on with my tooth and will help resolve the problems with it.
I've taken the day off from work so we can meet her and allow her to take care of me.
I wonder what she'll need to do? I am really not sure what she'll decide is the best resolution, but I trust her opinion. :-)
I'm taking a lot of materials with me when we go. I start teaching 2 classes more on Monday. I'll have a full schedule at that point.
I'm starting to get used to teaching, but I have a long way to go before I'll be at a point that I feel confident and comfortable teaching English.
This Samsung dvdrw is still randomly problematic. I uninstalled the IDE channels from Windows and rebooted. After that I verified that everything is indeed set to DMA. This has helped, but this drive is still very picky. It will read a disk one time, and then see nothing another. This goes for burned or original copies of things. What a pain. Luckily we do not have dire need of this device. We can make do without it for the time being. Later it will have to be replaced though.
I did manage to install a few games and download no-cd cracks so I can play them without the disks, which makes for a decent work around. Not that I have a lot of time to play games, but it is helpful for testing the computer, and is nice to relax once in awhile with some game playing. I have to be careful though, I don't want to play too much, I have to make sure to spend time with Siew. I do not want to ignore her! :-)
